Space Flexibility

Yaber V3 is a standard throw projector and therefore requires more space to produce a big picture when compared to short-throw and ultra-short-throw projectors. This limits you to a few room sizes when installing it.

It has an impressive brightness of 6,000 lumens which is equivalent to 2,500 ANSI lumens. This is enough for displaying high-quality images in areas with low and medium ambient light. For well-lit rooms, you may want to find options with at least 3000 ANSI lumens.

A good choice for an all-rounded projector.

Setup and Connectivity

Once you’ve identified the right room to install the Yaber V3 projector, the next step is to figure out how to do it safely and effectively. The good news is that you get a user manual when buying it which contains instructions that are simple enough for anyone to understand. You can mount it on a table or the ceiling.

To assist you to align the image, it has two features; vertical keystone correction and digital zoom. We would have wished for more but hey, at least it has a few.

Now, it has buttons on the top surface for navigation and other settings but doesn’t come with a remote. So be sure to install it where you can get to it when you want to use the control panel.

When it comes to connectivity, there is only one HDMI input, which is not convenient for anyone who wants to hook up several entertainment systems like streaming sticks or cable boxes. But it supports Bluetooth, so you can wirelessly connect external audio devices for better sound quality.

It will take years before the lamp needs a change because it has a lifespan of 100,000 hours. How cool is that?

Picture Quality

The Yaber V3 projector has a resolution of only 720p which is decent but nothing to write home about. The resolution is also not that good with a measured value of 6000:1. Now, it supports 1080p content sources but they will be downscaled to 720p. And of course, it does not support 4K content sources.

Sound

If there’s something the Yaber V3 excels at, it’s good sound production. It has two built-in speakers that produce a room-filling sound that will make you think twice about hooking up an external audio device.

But there’s no guarantee that you’ll like it. So, you can connect speakers, headphones, or soundbars from any of the major brands through the audio jacks or wirelessly via Bluetooth if you prefer.

Gaming Capability

We couldn’t get the latency value for the Yaber V3 but going by what the manufacturer swears by, it’s good for gaming. However, we recommend using it for casual gaming because based on our experience, it’s hard to get a highly responsive projector at its price point.

Pros

  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Dual internal speakers that produce good sound
  • Easy to install
  • Long lamp life

Cons

  • One HDMI port
  • Does not support Wi-Fi connectivity

Final Words

If you’re used to a top-of-the-line projector, the Yaber V3 may not sound like a good choice for a home theater or video game room. But for the features it has like Bluetooth connectivity and dual speakers, it’s worth the price of just over $100.

There aren’t many projectors that can match it in the current market.

We hope this article has helped you make an informed decision.
